Automated Timed Fire TM
Software and Hardware that take advantage of today’s faster computers.
Windows based 32 bit architecture plus solid state hardware. 4000 feet firing distances through digital, tough, dependable XLR cabling. The safest firing software in the industry. From Advanced Technique Fireworks, Inc.
Uses up to 128 software re-addressable 24VDC firing modules preventing data collisions possible with other systems.
19968 cues capable if using all M156 cue modules, 4096 cues if using all M32 cue modules. Any combination of modules, M32 cue or M156 cue modules can be mixed on any of up to four cable directions in the show. The M156 cue modules require our highly sought after low cost addressable rails or our addressable slat boxes and cables. Rechargeable battery powered modules (not charging capacitors in the modules that require time to recharge between shots) fire up to 128 modules at the exact same time with large quantities of ematches on each module, while providing multi location shots per M156 cue modules without the need to use scab wire, via addressable looped rails. Incredibly user friendly hardware and software. Addressable rails and or slat boxes and cables used with the M156 cue modules can also be used with our Array Touch Fire TM manual firing system without any adapters or interfaces.

When used with the Affordable Timed Fire TM Professional Firing Software
Full Auto mode:
Software that plays the music AND fires the show from script for perfect synchronization. Start, Pause, Resume, Disable & Re-enable cues, all while outputting audio in full sync. Also capable of a jump to HH:MM:SS:FF function with music sync. Fire the show with synchronization and be capable of going back or skipping forward in 1/10th or ½ second intervals from anywhere in the show without missing a cue when using an outside audio source.
Semi Auto mode:
Sequential fire a scripted show with semi auto advance by the operator.
Manual Firing mode:
Fire by clicking on icons anywhere.
Diagnostics:
Safely test continuity of ematches and circuits on screen live or test against all cues in the script. Communication port testing. Every digital component has an on board test circuit. Test the script for valid firing commands, repeated and or illegal cues.
Safety:
Operator can intervene via software control within the firing screens to disable / re-enable cues while in any firing mode while remaining in full sync. Select and disable any cue or group of cues on the fly with any field(s); Areas, Groups, Calibers, Modules, Rails, Cues. Select and re-enable cues during the show. Optionally safely fire selected disabled leftover cues from the disabled list after the show completes. Cascading safeties before any true arming can take place. No address switches to fiddle with on the modules. Automatic safe mode until the Computer Interface Module is key switch armed. Seven cascading commands required to fire an ematch. Dead man pickle switch. Full NFPA compliance.
Scripting:
Import simple common delimited text files from spreadsheets like Excel. Load, Save, Edit Script & Direct Entry. Low cost wave file editing programs provide cue marking for the script. An expensive scripting program is not required.
Rugged and field tested:
Waterproof O-ring sealed cases. Industrial grade stainless steel bezels and ematch connection hardware. Proven tough optional rails and slat boxes in use since 1997.
Power:
All units use rechargeable batteries with the same Smartcharger for protection.
Requirements:
Personal Computer running Windows 2000 or Xp at a minimum of 500 Mhz. Hard drive with a minimum of 500 megabytes of free disc space (for software and a wave file to do a show of 30 minutes). One CIM (Computer Interface Module), One or more Firing Modules. Each CIM will operate up to 128 modules in any combination of 32 or 156 cue modules. Modules supported are 32 cue self contained and 156 cue. The 156 cue module has 12 cues on it with two ports to connect to 144 additional cues via cables and addressable cue rails or addressable slat cue boxes.
