Aluminum Racks Adaptive Tilt FireTM Aluminum racks have tilting bars built in for supporting them with our Perforated End Supports, facilitating tilting and fanning while providing the safest rack support system in the fireworks industry. These same Tilting Bars can also be used on conventional wood racks to facilitate tilting / fanning. The above photo also shows the Aluminum Bottom Cross-member that will take the recoil.

Aluminum, the perfect material; Bends out of the way when a shell malfunctions. Minimum intimate materials to become projectiles in a detonation.

An example of the versatility of the all aluminum Adaptive Tilt FireTM rack: Mortars are safely positioned over a central fulcrum point permitting the tilting of the rack in either direction between Perforated End Supports.
Different diameter, types and quantities of mortars can be used in each rack. Racks may be loaded densely or sparsely without rebuilding the racks. These racks are designed with crush zones helping to absorb the energy if a shell detonates in the mortar. Minimal intimate supporting material on each rack decreases projectiles. Two HDPE banding rings elastically retain the mortars tightly at the top and bottom, even in the sun. One banding ring top or bottom will hold mortars towards the sky should the other be blown away. End supports contain mortars in directions away from the audience.

These two photos show a close up view of the adjustability of the components. Front and back views of the adjusting holes on the Universal Aluminum Tilting Bar and the adjusting holes of the Aluminum Slotted Side Channels. The left photo shows the “L” pin and clip in place through the Perforated End Support holding the rack safely in place. Also shown are the fasteners on the back side of the Aluminum Slotted Side Channels. The right photo shows the HDPE Split Mortar Retaining Rings in place. |
